Damate reports growth in 2025 meat exports
Damate reports 29,000 tonnes of meat-product exports in 2025, alongside new markets and the start of Malaysian retail sales.

2025 export results
Damate exported 29,000 tonnes of meat products in 2025, up 25% year on year, the Russian agricultural group reported.
It added eight export destinations and secured four additional country permits, with supply rights covering more than 60 countries.
- Turkey: over 24,000 tonnes; shipments to Africa more than doubled, to Saudi Arabia and the UAE grew 1.6-fold, and to the CIS almost fourfold.
- Processed turkey: 1.9-fold growth; Africa, Middle East and CIS markets.
- Duck: 1,900 tonnes, up 16%; new shipments to Togo and the Central African Republic, a Cameroon permit, and CIS shipments more than doubled.
- Lamb: Iran remained a buyer; test batches went to Middle Eastern and CIS markets.

Malaysian retail entry
Damate began retail supplies to Malaysia in December 2025 after receiving export permission early that month. The first batch contained whole turkeys under the company’s Indilight brand, supplied from its Penza Region production complex. A sales-launch ceremony took place on 23 December at BSC Fine Foods in Kuala Lumpur.
The company said its turkey slaughter and processing plant had undergone audits involving Malaysia’s Department of Veterinary Services and Department of Islamic Development Malaysia. It described positive market-entry and supply decisions following those checks. Damate also outlined plans to broaden the product range and develop relationships with Malaysian partners.
Earlier production context
Damate produced 241,500 tonnes of turkey in 2024, up 2%, and 26,000 tonnes of processed turkey products, up 25%. Its Rostov Region duck business produced 18,000 tonnes, up 30%. The company announced these results on 4 February 2025. These 2024 production totals are separate from the 2025 export volumes.
The group also reported 4,500 tonnes of lamb, up 24%. At its Cherkessk plant in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, canned turkey and lamb production rose 3.5-fold to 2,700 tonnes. The plant’s capacity had increased to 2 million cans monthly. Capacity expressed in cans and annual production in tonnes describe different measures.

Production and supply bases
Export development began in 2015. Supply bases include Penza and Rostov regions and Karachay-Cherkessia. Poultry shipments continued to China and Hong Kong, with Singapore and the Philippines added.
Separately, 2025 turkey production reached 268,000 tonnes in slaughter weight, up 11%. China and Middle Eastern markets also remained important for duck exports.
